Featured Farm: Feathered Acres
This month our featured farm is Feathered Acres Farm - the location of our upcoming member meeting. Feathered Acres Farm is in the transitional process of becoming a full regenerative farm. The farm strives to protect the natural ecosystem around the farm while giving their animals land to roam and graze. They focus on improving our soil health, carbon capture, increasing biodiversity, and sustainable practices. Feathered Acres is operated by Trisha Zachman and her family just outside of Belgrade. The co-op carries a variety of products grown at feathered acres including pork, beef, and eggs. Check out their website for a little more information about them before our meeting!
